Kitchen Remodel

This kitchen was a complete remodel with customer supplied materials. A wall was removed to open up the space, and a load bearing header was installed to support this change. Other changes included a new laminate floor, countertops, cabinets, plumbing and lighting fixtures.

While building a rec room, TAG additionally added a 1/2 bathroom. When renovating a lower level, it is often an excellent time to consider finishing off a bathroom in the same area.

Below are some photos from a complete rec room recently created by TAG. The remodel included adding a half bathroom and completely finishing off a living area in the basement. The stairs leading to the rec room were completely custom made to the homeowners’ specifications.

Organization Solution

TAG Improvements created entryway custom carpentry earlier this year. The homeowner was in need of space and organization in the entryway. Our main challenge? The space was narrow, not a lot of room to work with. First, we moved a wall over to enlarge the entryway space. We then built completely custom cubbies for each member of the family out of oak. We included electrical outlets in each cubby for charging cell phones or laptops. We finished them with sliding baskets on the bottom for boots and shoes.

Rec Room

TAG recently completed a project in the Fox Valley area that included finishing the basement into living space. We drywalled a majority of the basement, adding base trim and wrapping poles/beams in oak. Can lighting was installed.

An office space was added as well that included CAT-5 wiring and extra insulation for soundproofing.

This is a Milwaukee bathroom TAG recently completed. Our challenge with this job was to customize this second floor bath for the homeowner who has some physical limitations and needed supports in the bathroom, including handrails and a bench seat for showering, as well as an overall remodel including extensive tile work. For this bathroom, we stayed within the original layout of the room, as we did not move any plumbing fixtures to new locations.

This homeowner was so pleased with the outcome of the bathroom that TAG was asked back to complete work elsewhere in the home, including a new kitchen ceiling and reinforcing a stair railing for safety reasons.

Waukesha Addition

A one room addition was completed recently by TAG Improvements in Waukesha. We replaced a 3 seasons room with a permanent addition, re-roofing the entire home, replacing a bow window in front of the home and residing the front of the house with cedar. All new windows and doors are Pella products-Designer Series with in window blinds. The flooring used was character grade hickory, and finished in a natural stain.

Concrete Work

These are photos of some of the concrete work we have done in the past. TAG has done driveways, patios, and walkways in concrete, using stamped and colored concrete techniques depending on the job. Concrete is a solid and durable material that can be used for many different situations. Your imagination is the limit!

Wauwatosa Bathroom

This is a bathroom completed in Wauwatosa. It was a complete gut and remodel down to the 2×4’s, as the bathroom was original from the 1960’s with minor water damage. TAG followed the original layout of the room. The toilet needed to be moved a few inches to accomodate the larger whirlpool tub. The products that were used included a tile floor and surround, a Kohler whirlpool tub and fixtures, a maple vanity with a solid surface quartz Zodiaq countertop.

Eastside Bathroom

This is a bathroom recently completed on the East side of Milwaukee. This project entailed the removal of a chimney to make way for the custom Neo-Angle shower stall. We also took over a closet from the neighboring bedroom to create a nook for the toilet. The existing claw foot tub was replaced with a Kohler bubble massage tub. For comfort, the tile floor was heated and controlled in the bathroom.
